Should You Steal That Coin? Posted by SoieFlora in Gold Hunt - April 30, 2013, 12:18 am
This isn't a rant about stealing coins or having a coin stolen just my thoughts on the matter.
When I was gold hunting I saw the text about stealing a coin. Well that made me look around my screen going oh no someone going to steal it! But no one was around and I clicked that coin as fast as my fingers could. I was a coin ninja! But could I be a coin stealing ninja? I am a very competitive person in Real Life and Second Life, so it would be natural for me to rush up and grab a coin for myself or maybe even steal someone elses coins. Is it right or wrong to do this? Well it's all in how you play the game. It's allowed in Gold Tokens so surely it's right, but do you get a fuzzy feeling from stealing a coin or getting your own? It's all up to you. I'm sure if someone steals my coin I would be raging like crazy, but I wouldn't bother the person in ims or local. I would just fume and rant to myself and move on to the next coin. There's really no reason to go off on someone over a game. I haven't had that happen to me yet, but I'm sure others have.
Just remember it's all just a game and yes you can earn lindens with this awesome game. But remember we're all human behind our avatars and who knows the real motivation behind stealing a coin.
Happy Gold Hunting Everyone.
