A many of you know, mt SL presence over the last 2 mnths has been sketchy at best. But long before tht i was already just not here. physicly yesh but my heart, not so much. Not a huge surprise. After 8 or 9 years on LGH Staff, I was a little burnt out.
If not for the presence of Kev and some choice Elders, I prolly would have walked away for good recently. The failure of my PC would have been the last straw on the camels back. But they were here. Physicly and mentaly and whole-heartedly. I am thankful.
well. My loaner PC is ...erm...not what I am used to and I cant wait till I can get back on one that can handle SL...but Im happy to say my burn-out is gone and when I am here it is with all the jooy and warm-hearted eagerness to help folks that I used to have. The break was a good thing, apparently. I feel renewed and I dont dread logging in to SL . yay \o/
So. If you find your joy of the community nd fishing orhunting is lessthan what it used to be, myabe a step-away for a few days or weeks is just what the doctor orderd for you too.Re-find the fun of the games and the people again =) We all burn out, often times we dont even know thats what it is. Until we have no choice but to step away or we lose it and are lucky enough that the community saved us a seat so we can return. Then we know we are really back and its all fun again.
