All the vendors work pretty much the same. Click on it and you'll get a menu, choose sell. Another pop up will let you say how many you want to sell. Then yet another pop up will tell you what channel that vendor uses.  So finally you'll put in chat the price you want to list your stuff for.  /channel# price  example /9 0.20.

Follow the prompts in the pop ups and watch local chat. All the instructions are there.

When things are bought from what you put up for sale, does it go into your earnings, or your actual Lindens?

No, you'll just see the money in your rod go up as stuff sells.  No message.
