Top 150 Fishers

I made a comment in chat yesterday that got me a bit of flack. Well I stand by my comment. I may joke around, tease people in game or chat but my comments or observations are rarely made without some considerable thought time behind them, so yes, maybe I am very bored as was thrown at me, but I try to use my boredom productively.

What I suggested was that fishers in the top 150 ranks, who therefore have a lot of xp under their belts, should consider the buoys they are fishing at. if it is a buoy that is not funded by a large commercial sim, like a gaming location, but is a private buoy on a small sim, then they shoudl routinely tip back to the owner a significant part of the lindens they take out of the buoy. That way they are supporting the network of small buoy owners who give the game so much and supporting the development of noobie fishers as well.

For those at any rank, for whom rank is yor goal, and not lindens, I would go further and say you should be tipping back most, if not all or more than you are taking out of the buoys.

Happy fishing, keep busy.

I agree either give a tip or maybe pay into the bouy, as a land owner any contribution is greatly appreciated.

Yes donations are sure nice, but I don't expect that. Voting, joining to groups, checking out the stores we rent, that I would like to see more. :)

Indeed Uzo, but this blog wasn't addressed to all fishers, just those in the top 150, who I expect to be joining soon so will have to be practicing what I preach. The focus is also on the smaller sim owner and buoy provider remember. Group membership is hampered by the 42 group limit and often a sims retail offeerings are nto things we are looking for at that time, though they may be in the future.

Yes of course I understand those factors. Well one thing for sure, I would not object your idea. If some fishers would toss back some of their money into the buoy that would just give me the happy :) So you got my vote on that either way.
