I see alot of 'security updates' lately due to bugs that people have found and exploited (intentionally and not). I also see it being said that one person cannot do it all, or if they can it is a huge job and burden. It is too much. I agree.
It seems to me that a solution should be fairly obvious. A game of this size, that brings in the kind of revenue it does, should have a team of employees to test things BEFORE they are released. If 'the company' would be willing to pay employees, and yes, reduce profit a little in the process, they could be more confident of strong, bug free products. The other solution would be to slow down, and stop releasing new products, until the old ones have been thoroughly tested.
We see people still having issues with things that came out a long time ago (shubbies, potions, farms, etc...), that have not been fixed, but the rush is always on to release the next 'big thing'.
Wili, do yourself a favor. Hire some people you trust and learn to delegate. Slow down on the new stuff, and fix the old stuff. You will be less stressed and take less crap from the 'haters'. LOL
